nearest edge of the cleaning system (without air guide plate).

The power effect of the blowing air and the suction airstream require, above all in the
case of light weight products, suitable measures for fixing in place and maintenance of
the minimum distance between product surface and the device, e.g. through spacer or
down-holder, product guides and guide rollers to tauten the product.
This also applies to web cleaning applications where the web tension is insufficient to
maintain the working distance.

Machine components which are earthed must not be located between the ioniser and
the part to be cleaned or in the immediate vicinity of the ionisers.
No additional components must be placed between ionisers and product surface (Ex-
ception: electrically non-conductive or insulated slide or retaining elements if neces-
sary).
