MAINTAINING YOUR SAFETY COVER

Brass Anchors: Concrete and Wood
a.
Clean and lube anchors EVERY OPENING AND CLOSING .
b. Frequently remove leaves and other debris from the safety
cover.
c. Clean safety cover before storing.
d. Inspect safety cover for damage.
STORING YOUR SAFETY COVER

Mesh and Solid Safety Cover
a.
Remove all leaves and other debris from the safety cover.
b. Clean safety cover:
i.
Hose off as needed.
ii. Mild soap and water to clean safety cover where
necessary.
c. Inspect safety cover for damage
i.
If your safety cover has damage have it repaired
immediately.
d. Carefully fold your safety cover and store in mesh bag included
with your order.
e. Hang bag off the ground to avoid mice and rodents.
f. Keep your safety cover away from excessive heat and harsh
chemicals.
g. Remove the springs to prevent damage (holes) from forming
during storage.
