Activating the telephone
To turn the telephone on/off, press and hold
L
for three seconds.
If the SIM card is locked with a PIN code
(Personal Identification Number), the display
shows
Insert PIN1:
. Enter your PIN code and
confirm with
q
to unlock the SIM card.
Note!
Most network operators allow the emergency
number 112 to be called without unlocking the
SIM card.
If you enter the wrong PIN code, the display
will show
Insert PIN1 (#):
, where # is the
number of attempts left.
When no more attempts remain, you need the
PUK code (Personal Unblocking Key) supplied
with your SIM card to unlock the card and
supply a new PIN code.
