Answering Machine (730R only)
Remote control
This machine can be remote controlled using the keys of an ordinary tone dialling
telephone. To use remote control, ring the answering machine and enter the remote
code when the outgoing message has been played. Once the code is accepted, several
remote control commands are available.
Remote control
1. Call the answering machine.
2. Press

when the outgoing message has been played.
3.
Enter the password code (see previous page).
4. The voice informs you of the number of new messages, and then the messages are
played. Listen to the messages or press
#
to stop playback.
5.
Select a remote control command (within 8 seconds), see below.
6. Hang up.
Command Function
1 .......................................... To hear the main menu options
2 .......................................... Play all messages
3 .......................................... Play new messages
4 .......................................... Repeat/skip to previous message
5 (during playback) ............. Delete one message
5 (after playback) ................ Delete all messages
6 .......................................... Skip to next message
7 .......................................... Turning on and off
8 .......................................... Listen to outgoing message menu options
9 .......................................... Enter/listen to password code (see previous page).
0 .......................................... Set time voice function
# .......................................... Stop
Please note!
If the machine doesn’t respond to the remote control commands, try pressing the telephone buttons for a
longer or shorter time. In normal cases, the answering machine should react to tones approximately 0.5
– 1 seconds in length, but longer tones may be necessary in certain telephone networks.
