For three phase motor:
a
. Loosen terminal box screws (X of Figure 11) and
remove cover (Y).

. Record incoming wire colors connecting to red,
black and blue leads. Loosen wire nuts and remove
incoming wires.

. Loosen cord grip and remove cord.

For DC variable speed motor, unplug motor cord at
disconnect (Z of Figure 12).

Remove four (4) screws (L of Figure 8) and remove
cover (K).

Loosen tensioner (V of Figure 9).

Loosen drive pulley set screws (AA of Figure 13).
Remove drive pulley (J) and timing belt (P).

Remove four (4) gear motor mounting screws (Q of
Figure 14). Remove gearmotor.

Remove four (4) adapter plate screws (AB of Figure
15). Remove adapter plate.

Install new gearmotor to adapter plate and mounting
bracket. Tighten screws (Q of Figure 14) to 103 in-lb
(12 Nm).
NOTE:
Drive pulley (J of Figure 13) is removed.
Wrap timing belt around drive pulley and complete
step 10.
