Information about this document
1.1 Contents and purpose
This manual enables the safe mounting of door closer
TS 93 B
with fire protection plate. Before commencing
any work, personnel must have carefully read through
and understood this manual. Complying with all
safety instructions and action steps provided in this
manual is the basic prerequisite for safe working.
1.2 Target group
The fire protection plate and door closer must be
mounted only by technically qualified personnel.

Safety
2.1 Intended use
• The fire protection plate is only suitable for TS 93 B
EN 2-5/EN 5-7.
• The door closer is intended solely for the controlled
closing of single-action doors.
• Adhere to the specified torques.
2.2 Reasonably foreseeable misuse
• Do not unscrew the valves.
• Do not open the door closer.
2.3 Basic warnings
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to improper mounting!
Incorrect assembly can cause injury.
• Use dowels and screws that are suitable
for the existing structure.
• See how the valves are closed in Figure 7.
