Leading mullion pressure switch (if fitted)

• With the door operating, press the leading mullion  
   buffer at position A as shown in Fig 4 and verify
   that the door stops
• Repeat the test in position B

Automatic operation

• Test the door operation by walking toward the door,    
   which should begin to rotate of accelerate to normal    
   operating speed when you reach not less  than 1000mm       
   from the threshold (Fig 5)
• The door should continue to rotate for sufficient time
   to allow the user to pass completely through the door
• Repeat for other entrance

Manual operation

• With the door stationary, test by pushing the door in
   its direction of rotation (fig 6)

Power Assisted operation

• Test by pushing the door in its direction of rotation (fig 7)
• On removal of hand pressure the door should stop
• Test by pushing the door in its direction of rotation (fig 7)

General tests

• Check there are no hazards due to crushing, shearing,  
   impact and drawing-in
• Check that the door speed is not likely to increase the
   risk of impact
• Check the door area does not present tripping or
   slipping hazards
• Check all door panels for broken/cracked glass
• Check all doors have correct warning and
   information signs displayed
• Check operation of manual or remote activation
• Check operation of all emergency stop buttons if fitted
• Check for distractions and obstructions in the vicinity of   
   the doors
