Vacuum pump main inspection provision
Replacement of motor installation deck, coupling, sleeve
1. A method of replacing coupling rubber
Unwind 4 of
nuts(bolts) on
the motor
installation deck
and separate
the motor.
Coupling sleeve
Coupling hub
- A couple-ring is consisted of 2 hubs and 1 sleeve.
A role of
‘
hub
’
which is assembled to an axis of motor and pump
is to deliver the motor power to the pump through the sleeve in
the middle.

Sleeve
’
is subjected to be regularly replaced due to its limited life.
(nylon resin & rubber material)
- Damage verification : if the pump doesn
’
t operate even if the
motor rotates, please check the coupling sleeve.
- Check if the coupling sleeve has been
damaged and assemble the parts after
replacing the new components.
- Warning : In case of reassembling,
adjust coupling sleeve carefully and slide
it all the way in to operate smoothly.
After putting the motor over the fastening bolt as pushing it on the installation
deck, assemble the coupling sleeve to operate smoothly.
The internal motor installation deck will be separated by unwinding 3 of bolts
as a picture.
