NOTICE
Do not let valve be closed for more than 3 or 4
seconds or damage can be caused to the
steering system components.
a.
With the engine running, turn the steer wheels
in any directions and read the indication on
pressure gauge (6).
b.
If the indication is approximately the pressure
shown in Step 5, then the steering gear has a
hydraulic failure.
c.
If the indication is too low or too high, then the
priority valve or its components must be
replaced.
7.
If the steering unit and the priority valve are
working properly, the steering cylinder is
defective and must be repaired.
8.
Correct the problem and check steering relief
valve pressure again.
