1 DEscrIPTIOn
There should be required for the pedestrian gates forming part of the
sectional door leafs to install a device which would prevent the electric
operator from being started, when the pedestrian gate is in its open position.
The WDKIT open gate transmitter kit is a magnet based contact-free sensor
which has been designed to be inserted into the pedestrian gate profile
resulting part of a sectional door leaf. The required safety is then ensured by
using a magnet and a reader to be connected to the external control panel.
The magnet (to the left) is installed on the pedestrian gate leaf, while the
reader (to the right) is inserted into the door profile. When the pedestrian
gate is in its closed position, the magnet and the reader are aligned between
them and the contact in the control board is closed, while the door can be
opened using the operator. When the pedestrian gate is opened the magnet
and the reader are get shifted in relation to each other and the contact gets
open, while the control board do not allow the operator to start.

3. InsTALLATIOn
1. Install the transmitter kit inside the door leaf, at the pedestrian gate
bottom (see the pedestrian gate transmitter kit installation diagram)
2. Facing the transmitter, the magnet is then to be installed on the
pedestrian gate.
3. Install one terminal box on the door leaf and the other one on the wall,
as shown in the diagram below.
4. Install the required cabling from the transmitter to the terminal box
installed on the door leaf.
5. Connect the two terminal boxes with the twisted cable provided with
the kit.
6. Connect the electric operator control outlets to the wall-installed
terminal box outlets.
