Flip up the Sport switch to activate the Sport mode. When the Sport mode is activated a green led light will burn above the command. The sport
mode activates the three following features:
Bleep (automatic
double clutching):
When you want to downshift before a corner, intuitively you brake and clutch at the same time in order to shift gears. With these
actions the motor management recognizes that you want to downshift. At the moment when you, as the driver, subsequently, shift
down to the lower gear the system calculates the exact amount throttle feed needed to achieve a perfect double
de-clutching. This feature allows the car to remain more stable and avoids rear axle locking when releasing the clutch pedal.
In some longer corners you might find yourself braking and clutching to engage higher gear. In this case, to avoid the system
adjusting the throttle feed upwards, press the bleep override button on the steering wheel.
Full throttle shift:
In acceleration phases, this feature allows to keep the throttle pedal fully pressed when shifting. You then only need to press
the clutch pedal and change gears. The motor management undertakes automatically the number of RPM and avoids the
engine revving to the limiter. This feature allows shorter gear shifting.*
*Shifting gears properly still requires some feeling from the driver
Launch control:
The launch control feature allows the driver to get the best traction possible when making a standing start**
To do a start with launch control, follow the following steps:
1. Make sure the car is stationary
2. The clutch needs to be fully pressed
3. The throttle pedal is pressed
4. The engine revs to 4000 RPM
5. Release the clutch
To do a 2nd gear launch, press the bleep button on the steering wheel. The launch control system will then recognize you want
to do a 2nd gear launch and will adjust the throttle.
** The standard warranty contract covers 5 launch controls. Any damage to the engine or to other components of the car will not be covered by the warranty if
the customer used the launch control more than 5 times.
SPORT MODE
Position 0: The TC is disabled
Position 1: This position is the one is called Track-Dry-Slicks, this configuration is programmed to provide the best results for the power and the
traction when driving on track in dry conditions. This configuration was developed on slick tyres.
Position 2: Same configuration as in position 1 except that this configuration was developed on semi-slick tyres. Thus this is the Track-Dry-
Semi-slick position.
Position 3: This position is for the Track-Wet configuration, it was developed for track use in rainy conditions. The program was tested on both
Semi-slick tyres and rain tyres.
Position 4: This position is for the Street-Dry configuration. It was developed to provide a good combination of performance and safety when
driving on open roads in dry conditions.
Position 5: The last position is for the Street-Wet configuration. It was developed to provide safety when driving on open roads in wet conditions.
