Adaptation of operating pressure:

Our customer service can assist you
in optimizing the settings for the cur-
rent operating pressure using the
programmer (accessories).

Malfunction-display:
Service- LED flashes red.

At connection of a potential free contact, an
alarm signal will be activated.

Cause:

Sensor wet or unit flooded (splash).

Reaction of the unit:

The potential free contact opens. The unit
opens periodically every 30 seconds until the
sensor is free of condensate and then it will
automatically switch back to normal operation.
If the error occurs again, it is essential to carry
out cleaning (

12

). If in doubt, please contact

our after-sales service department.

6.6 Manual operation /

Test alarm output

If the "test" button is pressed, the solenoid
valve opens for a fixed amount of time.
Test alarm outlet: If the button remains
pressed for more than 10 seconds, the appli-
ance runs into alarm operation and the ser-
vice LED flashes red. The alarm operation is
immediately stopped after releasing the but-
ton.

6.7 Superplus-version:

Programming operation

(Authorized personnell only)

The programming operation is started by con-
nection of the "Programmer".
The Programmer identifies which device from
the product family it is connected to. All oper-
ations and procedures are stopped. The pos-
sibly opened valve is closed. The red LED
lights up for a short time. You will find more
information in the operation manual of the
programmer.

7.1 Dismantling and mounting of

the wear and tear parts

The diaphragm and sealing elements of the
anchor plate are subject to wear, which
depends on various operating parameters
such as pressure, temperature, and dirt con-
tent of the condensate, etc.  Though these
parts are usually designed for several million
switch operations, it is strongly recommended
to replace the diaphragm (Figure

12a

) and

the anchor plate (Figure

12b

) after 1 year of

operation or 1 million operating cycles at the
latest. This will be indicated by the service
LED. In the case of contamination and/or mal-
function, the parts shown in Figure

12

must

be cleaned or replaced. Clean with soap and
water.

These parts are available together as “Service
Kit” (see spare parts)!

Before beginning the work:

Take the drain out of
operation, cut  off the
power supply.

7 Hints for maintenance
