Install the Filter Minder
indicator grommet
into the bracket.

Install the indicator barbed stem to the L-bracket.

Place the other end of
the hose on the brass
fitting found on the
end of the Filter Minder
indicator.

Attach the 3 foot hose to the black stem near the
yellow reset button and let it hang down, or secure
it in a weather protected area.
This will prevent snow and rain from freezing at
the end of the stem, which could block the stem
opening causing the indicator to malfunction.

The Filter Minder is now ready to monitor the
T.R.A.P. filter restriction. Replace the T.R.A.P. filter
when the yellow position indicator nears/enters the
red zone. After servicing, reset the indicator to zero
by pushing the yellow reset button.
Pushing the reset button multiple times may be
necessary to get the indicator back to its initial
setting. This is due to the locking mechanism inside
the indicator.
