Occasionally clean the device with a soft, damp cloth.

Regularly check live cables or lines for insulation faults, breaks or loose connections.
The device is maintenance-free.
10 Troubleshooting
NOTICE! Damage hazard
Switching between battery banks must be done with an external device. Each battery
bank must have a fuse or breaker. The switching circuit must not allow the battery
banks to be connected or shorted.

Unplug the device from the power supply before cleaning and maintenance
NOTICE! Damage hazard
• Never clean the device under running water or in dish water.
• Do not use sharp or hard objects, abrasive cleaning agents or bleach during clean-
ing as these can damage the device.

LED indication
Cause
Remedy
Charging does not
start when battery
voltage is < 9 V.
No LED indication.
Battery voltage failure.
Use an external charging source to
charge the battery voltage above 9
V. Consider battery replacement.
Incorrect wiring polarity.
Correct any reverse polarity con-
nections.
Connection failure.
Check that all connections are
clean and secure. Check that all
wires and insulation are intact.
Check for possible shorts or visible
damage to the equipment.
Replace blown fuses or reset circuit
breakers. Consult your dealer or
installer for assistance.
