If you are using gimbal mountings (

), make sure that the cooker can
swing freely.

Leave sufficient space for the vibration of the gimbal mounting.

Fill the cooker with denatured alcohol

Otherwise the stove
top cannot be opened.

Ensure the stove is cooled down to ambient temperature.

Hold down the button on the front of the cooker (fig.

Lift the stovetop (fig.

Check the opening of the canister to ensure that there are neither fire nor embers.

Loosen the retaining clips and remove the canister (fig.

Hold the canister obliquely downward (fig.

Fill denatured alcohol into the mouth of the canister

The maximum capacity of 1.2 litres per canister must not be exceeded

The maximum fuel level is reached when the fuel is visible at the bottom of the
opening (fig.

Check the permissible load capacity by holding the canister vertically down-
wards.
Keep it in this position for 20 seconds, to make sure it’s not overfilled. The excess
fuel can escape in this way.

Clean the outside of the canister of any remaining denatured alcohol.

Put in the canister so that all retaining clips lock in.
WARNING! Beware of injury.

Never fill the canisters in the cooker. Never pour alcohol through the
burner openings in the cover (fig.
1
, page 3).
•
Overfilled canisters, spilled denatured alcohol and hot surfaces can
cause severe burns.
NOTE
The cooker also works when the canister is not filled to maximum
capacity.
