5 Intended use
The cooling container can be used for cooling, keeping cool and
freezing
(only T0440F, T22, T32, T56, T82, T162F) foodstuffs.
The appliance is also suitable for use on boats.
The appliance is designed for use with a 12 V
DC
or 24 V
DC
battery
in a car, boat or caravan, or (with the exception of T22) with a
110 – 240 V
AC
mains supply.
Caution – take care when cooling perishable medicines
If you wish to cool medicines, please check if the cooling capacity
of the device is adequate for this purpose.
Note
The T0440N model has only one compressor. fig. 2 , page 3
shows the T0440F model with two compressors.
6 Function description
The cooling container can chill products and keep them cool. A maintenance-
free refrigerant circuit with compressor provides the cooling. The extra strong
insulation and powerful compressor ensure especially fast cooling.
The cooling containers T0440N , T22 , T32 , T56 , T82 , T162F and T162N can
also be used to keep goods warm.
When used on boats, the cooling container can withstand a constant heel (in-
clination) of 30°.
