7 Troubleshooting
Please refer to the following error table before contacting customer services.
8 Cleaning and maintenance

WARNING! Danger of electrocution!
Always disconnect the mains plug before you clean and service the
device.
A
NOTICE! Danger of damaging the device!
Never clean the device under running water or in dish water.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or hard objects during clean-
ing as these can damage the device.

Occasionally clean the device with a damp cloth.
Problem Cause Remedy
The yellow LED (fig. 1 9,
page 3) does not glow if you
connect the compact charger
to the AC mains.
There is no AC voltage. Make sure that an AC voltage
is present.
The red LED (fig. 1 7,
page 3) glows.
The polarity has been
reversed. Connect the connection ter-
minals with the correct polar-
ity.
The cables have been short
circuited. Check the electric cables.
Electric consumers are con-
nected. Disconnect all electric con-
sumers which are connected
to the battery.
The charging current selected
for the battery is too low. Use a charging device with a
higher charging current.
