Using the compact charger PerfectBattery BC400

Connect the cable to the terminals (fig. 1 5, page 3) using the adapter
plug (fig. 1 3, page 3) of the compact charger.
➤
Charge the battery as described in “Charging a battery” on page 28.
6.4 Charging a battery
➤
Select the charging current by setting the charging switch (fig. 1 1,
page 3) to the required value.
➤
Connect the mains cable (fig. 2 1, page 3) to a 230 V socket.
✓
The battery charging process starts now.
✓
The “Charging” LED (fig. 1 9, page 3) glows.

NOTE
During the charging process you can
 Interrupt the charging process at any time or
 Change the charging current by setting the charging switch
(fig.
1 1, page 3) to the desired value.
When the battery is fully charged:
✓ The “Charging” LED (fig.
1
9, page 3) goes out.
✓ The “Full” LED (fig.
1
8, page 3) glows.
6.5 Shutting down the compact charger

After use, first disconnect the connection to the AC mains.
➤
Disconnect the black cable from the negative terminal of the battery.
➤
Disconnect the red cable from the positive terminal of the battery.
