Type 333H
This chapter describes the assembly of cam and end piece as well as the adjustment
of the cam for type 333H.
You require: 1 appropriate reversible key, 1 end piece (204217),
1 cam (218426 008), 2 security rings (202335F) for the cam,
1 security ring (202335F) for each extended side (optional), 1 pliers (263629) for the
cam, 1 pliers (261669) for the extension (optional).
Caution! The cylinder core is not yet fixed by the security ring. If you in-
sert the key, the core can be completely removed from the body and the
pins will fall out. In this case, you must completely refill core and body.
Ill. 21: Inserting cam and end piece
1. Insert the appropriate reversible key.
2. Slightly turn the key.
3. Remove the cylinder core until the
core and/or the core elongation is
flush with the cylinder body on the
inside.
4. Insert the cam in the cylinder body
so that the opening with spring pin
points backwards to the end piece.
5. Hold the cam so that its top side is
flush with the cylinder body and its
bottom and lateral side slightly pro-
trudes.
6. Slide back the core into the cylinder
body.
7. Rotate the core until it is in its initial
position and remove the key secur-
ing the core at the same time.
8. Insert the end piece in the cylinder
body so that the spring pin of the
cam slides over the chamfered area
of the end piece.
Caution! Always adjust the security rings so that the smooth side of the
security rings points towards the cam.
