IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Please read carefully before use.
When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be
observed to reduce risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to self and others, including
the following:
1. Read all instructions thoroughly.
2. Do not touch any hot surfaces. Use knobs, handles, or other safety features to
grasp hot objects.
3. To protect against electric shock, do NOT immerse the cord, plug, or any other part
of the appliance in water or other liquid.
4. When operated by or near children, close supervision is necessary to reduce risk
of injury.
5. Be sure to unplug the appliance when cleaning or when not in use. Always allow
the appliance to cool before installing or removing parts, or when cleaning the
appliance.
6. Do NOT operate any appliance if the plug or cord has been damaged, if the
appliance has malfunctioned, or it has been damaged in any other manner. Return
the appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair, or
adjustment.
7. Refrain from using accessories not recommended by the appliance manufacturer.
Doing so increases the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury.
8. Do NOT use outdoors. The appliance is designed for indoor use only.
9. Do NOT allow the cord to hang over the edge of the table or counter or allow it to
touch any hot surfaces.
10. Do NOT place the appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated
oven.
11. Do NOT use the appliance for anything other than its intended use.
12. To disconnect, turn any control to “OFF“, then remove plug from wall outlet.
13. Make sure that your outlet’s voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on the rating
label of the appliance.
14. Do NOT use the appliance with a damaged outlet. Doing so increases the risk of
fire, electric shock, or injury.
15. Any examination, repair, or adjustment of the appliance should be conducted by an
authorized service agent ONLY.
16. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, one of its
service agents, or anyone with similar qualifications to prevent hazards.
17. This appliance is not intended for commercial use.
18. Provide proper ventilation when using the appliance leaving a minimum space of 6”
free around the unit.
19. Remember to keep this appliance out of direct sunlight and away from any other
direct sources of heat.
20. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
