"Initialize" and "Reset settings" are different. Do not mix them up.
If you perform "Initialize", you will lose all data you have stored.

Delete stored data and reset the function settings to default.
Performing "Initialize" deletes all of your important data, logs or information such as
personal data like phonebook entries or mails, downloaded images or melodies, i-

camera, or various log records or information, etc. (Protected data is also deleted).
