Using Public Mode (Drive Mode)
Once you activate Public mode (Drive mode), the guidance is
played back telling that you cannot answer the call as you are
currently driving or in a public place (such as a train, bus or
movie theater) where you should refrain from speaking on the
phone. Then, the call is disconnected automatically.

Using Public Mode (Power Off)
Once you activate Public mode (Power off), when the FOMA
terminal’s power is OFF, the guidance is played back telling
that you cannot answer the call as you are currently in a
public place (such as a hospital, airplane or near a priority
seat on a train) where you are required to turn off the
power of the FOMA terminal. Then, the call is disconnected
automatically.

When a call comes in during Public mode
(Drive mode), the ring tone does not sound
and the record is stored in “Received calls”.
The alarm does not sound even when the
specifi ed alarm time comes.
