Do not attempt to modify the FOMA terminal or accessories.
・
Requests for repair of the modified FOMA terminal may be rejected. The
following may be regarded as modifications:
- Put stickers, etc. on the LCD or keys
- Decorate the FOMA terminal using adhesives, etc.
- Replace the external parts, etc. with non-DOCOMO components
・
If malfunction or damage occurs as a result of modification, charges will
apply even if the FOMA terminal is still under warranty.

Do not remove the manufacturer's specification sticker put on the FOMA terminal.
If the content of the sticker cannot be confirmed, determination of whether technical
standard is satisfied cannot be made. Thus, requests for repair may be rejected.
●
The settings of the functions or the information about total time may be
cleared (reset) due to the damage, repair or improper use of the FOMA
terminal. In this case, configure the settings again.
●
Magnetic components are used for the following parts of the FOMA
terminal. A cash card (ATM card, bank card), etc. which is easily affected by
magnetism, may become unusable if it is kept close to the components:

If your FOMA terminal gets wet or moist, immediately turn it off, remove
the battery pack, and bring the FOMA terminal to a repair counter as
soon as possible. Note that repairs may not be possible depending on the
condition.
i-mode fault diagnosis site
The service lets you check if your FOMA terminal's i-mode is
working correctly for operations such as sending/receiving mail,
and downloading images/ring tones. When there seems to be a
malfunction as a result of checking, please contact Repairs on the
last page of this manual (in Japanese only).
・
Packet communications charges do not apply to use i-mode fault diagnosis.
・
Charges will apply if using the service from overseas.
