Flow of Setup for Data Communication
The flow for preparing to connect the FOMA terminal and a PC for performing packet
communication is as follows.
Check that "USB mode setting" of the
FOMA terminal is set to "Communication
mode" → P5
Connect the FOMA terminal and a PC
using the FOMA USB Cable for data
communication (trial) → P5
Download and install the L-03C
communication setting files
• Install them using supplied CD-ROM
or
• Download and install from
the DOCOMO web site
Check after installation → P8
Connect → P26
Install DOCOMO Connection Manager
and set up with it → P13
Set up without DOCOMO Connection
Manager → P17

This software (driver) is required for packet communication or file transfer when the FOMA terminal
and a PC are connected using the FOMA USB Cable for data communication (trial).
DOCOMO Connection Manager
This software facilitates simple configuration or the settings for a packet communication access
point (APN), dial-up connection, etc.
