position on the surface of the scroll button corresponds to a cooking level.
The power level selection is done by sliding the finger or pressing the finger
on a specific position of the sliding surface
2.3 Switching off the cooking areas:
- To switch the individual cooking area, select it and set at “ ”.
- To switch off all the cooking areas, touch the
(ON-OFF) symbol.
2.4 Other functions
• TIMER:
By pressing the buttons (4) once the cooking zone has been
selected, the timer function is activated. An autonomous timer is available
for each cooking zone.
• SAFETY LOCK:
By pressing the key (5) of the PENTA control for 1 second,
or at the same time the keys (3) of the ELC control, the Key Lock function
is activated and deactivated. If the LED associated with the Key Lock key is
lit, the control panel is locked.
• DOUBLE / TRIPLE AREAS:
The activation of a double cooking zone
implies the simultaneous switching on of 2/3 circuits. The activation of
the external circuit is indicated by a light in the lower right corner of the
display. To activate the external circuit, in the ELC command press the zone
selection key (2) again, in the PENTA command press the key (6).
• STOP & GO: Only available in PENTA control panel
The Stop & Go
function allows temporary interruption of the cooking process. Pressing the
button (7) activates this function, which can be deactivated by pressing the
same button again. Once deactivated, the hob reports the cooking levels to
the state before the pause.
2.5 Displays: notes - errors - alarms
• The “
” symbol indicates that the corresponding cooking area is still hot
(> 60° C). If there is a power cut, the “ ” symbol goes off but will reappear
when power returns. With the “
” symbol present, it is always possible to
switch the cooking area on again.
•
The individual cooking areas can be set only after they have been selected.
The display of the area selected shows a brighter light.
• If the “ ” symbol appears, it means there is an anomalous overheating of
the electronic components (if this is repeated after cooling, please contact
the Technical Assistance Service).
