With weakest hand at the
belt path, tilt and push the
child restraint from side
to side. If the LATCH
belts do not loosen, your
child restraint should be
secure.
NOTE:
Some “play” from
front to back or about an
inch from side to side is
acceptable. If it moves
more, you may need to
use a locking clip or move
the seat to a different
seating location. Review
“Knowing Your Vehicle
Belts” and “Locking Clip”
sections.
