GPS Antenna Placement
The DEFENDER® will work best if the GPS antenna has a clear view of the sky and as much of the horizon as possible.
Any metal between the GPS antenna and the satellites will degrade the signal and reduce the overall
performance. GPS satellite signals can penetrate glass, plastic, wood etc. but NOT metal.
