FAILURES
OF
THE
SCOOTER
The
scooter
DT
12/24/36
is
extremely
reliable,
but
the
diver
must
be
always
prepared
to
face
possible
failures.
a)
The
scooter
doesn´t
turn
on
Assure
that
you
have
placed
the
interrupter
in
ON
posi on,
note
the
LED
that
indicates
the
ba ery
level.
If
the
fault
persists
follow
these
men oned
steps:
-Stop
the
dive
and
once
out
of
the
water
with
the
equipment
dry,
verify
that
the
ba ery
is
connected.
-If
the
problem
con nues
verify
the
charge
of
the
ba ery.
(We
always
recommend
that
before
the
dive,
verify
that
the
equipment
is
in
working
order,
without
engaging
the
motor.
With
this
we
assure
that
the
ba ery
is
well
connected
and
the
ba ery
is
fully
charged.
b)The
helix
doesn´t
turn
If
the
helix
does
not
turn
and
the
luminous
switch
show
green
for
ideal
load,
check
the
adjustment
of
the
adjustable
nut
of
the
helix,
check
that
there
is
no
drag
preven ng
the
rota on.
If
the
failure
persists
follow
these
steps:
Suspend
the
dive,
once
out
of
the
water
and
with
the
equipment
dry,
dismantle
the
helix
as
explained
in
point
5.3.1
Assembly.
-Verify
that
the
dragging
wedge
is
not
spent,
these
pieces
can
suffer
a
deteriora on
a er
a
prolonged
me
and
use.
