4. With the batteries removed, line up the backing plate to the desired location on the wall. Using the two mounting holes, mark the location of the holes

on the wall to be drilled. Using appropriate hardware for the substrate, drill holes and fasten the mounting plate to the wall. Replace the two (2) AAA
alkaline batteries.

RISK OF SHORT CIRCUIT! The batteries must be removed before screwing the backing plate to the wall.

If replacing the batteries, only use new batteries. Do not use rechargeable batteries with this device. Never mix old and new batteries.

5. To re-attach the front cover, slide the bottom of the front cover upwards as shown below.

6. Make sure the bottom part of the front cover is correctly seated on the backing plate before clipping the top portion back into place. Retighten the se-

curity screw.
