Make sure that the protective lid is centered above the disposer inlet. Make a mark on the axle
25mm outside of the side of the sink on interlock assembly side and 7mm outside the sink on the
other side. Remove the outer side of the buskings (2). Remove the lid from the sink. Cut the axle
at the marks you just made. Make sure that there are no sharp edges on the axle.

Put the inner part of the bushings (2) and the O-rings on the axle of the protective lid (1), one on
each side of the lid. Put the lid into the sink by slipping the axle through the holes made in step 1
of this instruction. Put on the outside of the bushings and thighten them. Make sure that the
protective lid (1) is closed and in the the correct position.

Fix the interlock assembly (3) on to the sink. Use 2pcs of M5 mushroom head screws, shims and
locking nuts (4).

Fit the index bolt (8) onto the interlock assembly. Make sure that the end fits into the lock
mechanism (5).
9.
Make sure that the protective lid is in a closed position. Thighten the lock screw (10) on the lock
mechanism (5). Make sure that the safety intelock switch is in the ON-position when the
protective lid is closed. Thighten the lock screw (11) on the safety interlock switch.

Fix the cover plate (9) onto the interlock assembly.

Ensure that the cable from the interlock switch is protected from influence. It needs to be
suspended and fixed all the way from the sink to the contactor in the start/stop unit on the wall.
Attach the cable to (for example) the bench legs, frame, or wall.
