Hornet Encoder / Decoder 

 

 

RTMP – enter the DEVOS or DVExpress Hornet URL 

 

Multicast – Only used if not configured with a Discover Video 
server system.  Select RTP or UDP output and enter Class D IP 
address, port, and TTL. 

 

Unicast -- Only used if not configured with a Discover Video server 
system.  Hornet can send UDP to up to two destinations. 

 

File Recording -- Only used if not configured with a Discover Video 
server system.  You can set record file name.  NOTE: Hornet 
currently only records in .TS format.  When uploaded to a Discover 
Video server, the video is transcoded into industry-standard .mp4 
(A future release of Hornet will support .mp4 recording directly). 

 

FTP Upload -- Only used if not configured with a Discover Video 
server system.  Allow configuration of upload via FTP after 
recording.
