Vacuum cleaning

Fit on the desired nozzle,

Pull out the power cord until the yellow marking is visible
(Fig. 15/1).
3.
Insert the mains plug into a socket with ground/safety
contact.
4.
Switch on the appliance with the on/off switch (Fig. 16/
2).
5.
Set the nozzle switch to ‘carpet’ or ‘hard floor’ according
to the floor covering (Fig. 17) to be cleaned:
-
Hard floor (Fig. 17/A)
Laminate, tile, PVC, etc.
-
Carpet (Fig. 17/B)
Deep and short-pile carpets, rugs, runners, etc.

When working with the vacuum cleaner, pull it after you
like a sleigh.
WARNING:
Danger of injury! Check appliance and power cord before each use. A damaged appliance must
never be used.
ATTENTION:
Check the requirements of your flooring before using the vacuum cleaner. Follow the recommen-
dations of the flooring manufacturers.
ATTENTION:
Only use the cylinder vacuum cleaner when all filters are intact, dry and correctly fitted. Make sure
that no openings are clogged. Otherwise the vacuum cleaner might be damaged.
WARNING:
Danger of electric shock! If the red marking shows
(Fig. 15/2), retract the cord to the yellow marking by
pressing the retract button (Fig. 16/1). Otherwise the
cable can break off.
WARNING:
Danger of injury! Especially when vacuum-cleaning stairs
make sure that you always stand on a higher level than
the appliance.
