Switch off the appliance and pull the plug from
the mains socket.

Release the dust compartment
cover (Fig.
14
) and remove the bag mount, together
with the dust bag, from the appliance (Fig.
15
).

Pull the full dust bag from the bag mount (Fig.
16
).
You can dispose of the dust bag with the domestic
waste if it does not contain any dirt which is not al-
lowed in the domestic waste.

Insert a new dust
bag into the bag mount and unfold the dust bag
(Fig.
17
).

Insert the bag mount, together with the
dust bag, into the appliance (Fig.
18
).

Close the
dust compartment cover. It must audibly click into
place (Fig.
19
).
Cleaning the pre-motor filter
NOTE:
The appliance and the pre-motor filter should be
cleaned regularly in order to maintain the suction
power.

Remove the dust bag, together with the bag
mount, from the appliance >”Replacing the dust
bag” on page 16.

Flip down the filter holder
(Fig.
20
) and remove the pre-motor filter (Fig.
21
).

Clean the pre-motor filter thoroughly under run-
ning water and leave it to dry completely at room
temperature for at least 24 hours.

Insert the
pre-motor filter into the filter holder and flip the fil-
ter holder up (Fig.
22
).

Insert the dust bag, togeth-
er with the bag mount, into the appliance and close
the dust compartment cover >”Replacing the dust
bag” on page 16.
Cleaning the exhaust filter
CAUTION!
The fine fins on the exhaust filter are sensitive.
Never clean the fins with water and only ever use
soft brushes for cleaning.
NOTE:
Replace any damaged, very heavily soiled, dis-
coloured or deformed exhaust filters with new
ones.

Open the exhaust filter cover (Fig.
23
).

Remove
the exhaust filter from the appliance (Fig.
24
).

Carefully tap out the exhaust filter.

Carefully
clean the exhaust filter with a soft brush (Fig.
25
).

Re-insert the exhaust filter into its console on the
appliance (Fig.
26
).

Insert the exhaust filter cover
into its opening and press it down so that it audibly
clicks into place (Fig.

).
