Si cette fonction nalité est configur ée à l’installat ion , elle perm ettr a à l’ut ilisat eur d’activer à dista nce
un mode spécial où les fonctions d e démarr age à distance sont désact ivées : si le véhicule est
station né à l’int érieu r, ceci évite ra les dé marrag es à distance accide ntels cau sés pa r la
télécommande ou par un déclen cheur exter ne. Si le véhicu le est muni d’une transmission
manue lle, le système doit ê tre mis en mod e p rê t à dé marr er afin d’entrer en mode valet che z soi

N.B. : Lorsq ue ce mode est activé, le véhicule ne pour ra p as être d ém arré à distance. Les
fonctions de l’alarme d’o rigine de meurer on t cependant actives.
Pour activer le mode Valet chez soi :
1. Appuyez sur le bo uton ou
2. En 3 secondes ou m oins, appuyez simultanément sur les bou tons et pour
3 sec.

Cette fonctionnalité signale un e tentative de dém arr age surv enue lors que le véhicule est en mo de
Valet chez soi . Les feux de stationne ment exécut eront la sé quence suivante :
S’allument puis s’éteignent ; puis clignot ent 2 fois , puis ma rquent un e pause; puis clignotent
deux fo is à nouveau.

Klaxon de conf irmation:
AUX 1 pe ut être prog ram mé pou r dé clencher le klaxon chaque fois que le bouto n de est
appuyé, ou quan d il est appuyé de ux fois du rant un interv alle de 3 second es. Lor sque le
klaxon de confirmation est activé, le mode panique est validé. Si le klaxon de confir mation est
désactivé, le mode panique ne sera pas actif.

OEM-Style Alarm
The OEM-style alarm (if configured by your installer) monitors the doors, hood and ignition switch
of your vehicle. It will sound the horn if a door or the hood is opened, or if the key is turned in the
ignition.

To arm the OEM-style alarm, press the button on the transmitter.
-The OEM-style alarm will ONLY arm if the button on the transmitter is pressed.
-The LED on the antenna will flash slowly to indicate that the OEM-style alarm is now armed.

To disarm the OEM-style alarm, press the button on the transmitter.
-To stop the horn from sounding if the OEM-style alarm is triggered, press the or
button, or put the system in and out of Valet Mode (page-8)
Car Finder
If configured by your installer, the Car Finder option will help you locate the vehicle by sending a
pulsating signal through the horn. To hear the signal, press and hold the or button. This
will produce a pulsating signal for the time you keep the button pressed.
Intrusion Codes via horn
The system monitors the following:

Doors
x
Hood
x
Ignition
Note: If an intrusion has occurred the HORN will sound for a maximum of 1minute.
If an intrusion has occurred and pressed, the horn provides an intrusion code corresponding to
the type of intrusion that occurred.
1x = power interruption
4x = Doors intrusion
3x = Hood 6x = Ignition
Troubleshooting Poor Transmitting Range
Many factors may affect the operating range of the transmitter. Some of these are:
x
The condition of the battery in the transmitter.
x
The operating environment (for example: downtown radio-frequency noise, airports, cellular
phone towers…).
x
Metal: any type of metal will affect operating range. This includes the vehicle itself.
x
The shape of the vehicle can affect range as well (vans in general have less range).
x
The shape of the roof and A-pillars brings about considerable radio-frequency deflection (in
this case, the signal from the remote control). As a result, the direction in which the vehicle is
facing in relation to the remote control can affect the range. Straight on (standing in front of
the vehicle) generally gives you the greatest range; the second best performance is from the
