instructions for Powering Bed:

1.  Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
2.  Locate the control box, under the knee section of the mattress support platform.
3.   Using the small flat screwdriver, depress the red tang on the power cord and work the power cord out 

of the control box appliance inlet 

(Figure 1)

4.  Use the small flat screwdriver to lift the battery cable retaining clip out of the battery cable port 

(Figure 2)

.

5.  Plug the battery cable into the battery cable port, making sure it is fully inserted 

(Figure 3)

.

6.  Operate bed using the hand control.

nOTE: Depending on the battery condition and the bed load, one battery can typically raise and lower a 
bed 20 to 25 times on a full charge.
