7.3 Installation
It is absolutely mandatory that all hexagonal bolts (flange and
spiral) be carefully re-tightened following the heat-up period.
7.4 Domestic water connection
PWD 750 connection:
PWD 900 and PWD 1250 connection:
ATTENTION!
It may be necessary at a later date to flush the heat exchanger; in order
for this to be carried out easily and economically, the hot water and cold
water connections should each be fitted with a T-joint which has a drain
cock (¾“), so that a flushing device can be connected.
Integrating the circulation return into the cold water inlet of the
thermostatic radiator valve
7.5 Cleaning
If the quantity or temperature of domestic hot water is reduced,
this may be due to the build-up of limescale on the inner walls of
the pipe.
A flushing device, which must be connected to the hot and cold
water connections, can be used to remove deposits from inside
the pipe with diluted de-scaling fluid.
Rinse the heat exchanger with water after it has been cleaned.
The cold water connection must be laid according to DIN 1988
or else the locally valid regulations must be observed!
