1. Warnings

You are requested to read carefully all the information in
these instructions. Keep these instructions carefully and if
applicable pass them on to the final owner.

If the appliance is damaged, check immediately with

the supplier before installation.

The appliance should be installed and repaired by a

qualified electrician.

In the event of a fault disconnect the electricity supply

to the appliance by switching off or removing the fuse.

Where the appliance is out of operation for a long

period, disconnect the electricity supply to the
appliance.

This appliance is only suitable for domestic use or

similar purposes within enclosed spaces.

During installation of the appliance, the relevant

requirements for the connection of supply cords with a
nominal voltage up to 1000V, are to be followed.

Do not use materials in the room where the appliance

is installed whose fumes or the material itself could
give rise to ignition, explosion or thermal
decomposition due to the high temperatures. In such
cases (e.g. the sticking down of floor coverings)
ensure that the appliance has cooled down to room
temperature.

The surfaces, especially the grille, become hot during

operation.

Do not insert objects through the openings of the

appliance. This could lead to functional faults, possibly
to the ignition of the object.

Dismounting of the appliance and disconnection from

the mains should only be carried out by a competent
electrician.

Warning! There may be dangers following the

automatic switching on of connected heaters in your
absence, e.g. heaters which have been moved or
covered in the meantime could cause a fire.

2. Mounting, minimum clearances

The convectors must only be installed horizontally. They
are to be installed so that flammable obstructions cannot
be ignited. The heater may be mounted on a wooden wall.
The heater must not be located below a fixed socket-outlet.
The minimum clearances, A, B and C, particularly to easily
combustible objects such as curtains, upholstered furniture
etc must be observed. Ensure that the air can circulate
freely around the heater.
The heater must only be installed using the wall brackets
supplied.

Drill the fixing holes for the wall bracket.

Screw the bracket securely to the wall.

Present the heater to the wall bracket and engage the

slots in the back of the heater.

3. Electrical connection

If the power supply cord of this appliance is damaged, it
must only be replaced with a cord supplied by an
authorised Service Agent.
The heater models PLX 250 and PLX 300 are fitted with a
supply cord without a plug. The supply cord must be
connected to a suitable connection box.

4. Cleaning the appliance

Before commencing cleaning switch
off the heater and allow to cool.
Release locking and hinge forward.
The outside can be cleaned by
wiping it over with a soft damp cloth
and then dried.
Do not use abrasive cleaning
powders or furniture polish, as this
can damage the surface finish.

5. Heater operation
