1.2 Regulations / Safety
Information
ATTENTION!
Read these installation and operating instructions before start-up!
The hot water heat pump (HW HP) is exclusively used to
heat water for domestic use and drinking water within the
specified operating temperature limits! Heating of other flu-
ids is not permitted. Technical regulations for domestic
water installation (DIN 1988) are to be observed.
Exhaust air should not fall below +15 °C (evaporator may
freeze). Heat pump operation efficiency sinks in proportion
to falling exhaust air temperatures.
The construction and design of the HW HP complies with all
relevant EU directives (see also CE Declaration of Conform-
ity).
The technician must ensure that the refrigerant is flushed
adequately to allow maintenance and repair work to be car-
ried out on refrigerant circuit components without risk. Re-
frigerant must be properly handled and disposed of; it must
not be released into the environment! (The refrigerant
R134a is CFC-free, non-inflammable and not ozone deplet-
ing).
Always disconnect the power supply (disconnect plug) be-
fore carrying out any maintenance or repair work on the HW
HP.
When connecting the HW HP to the power supply, the rele-
vant VDE, EN and IEC standards must be fulfilled. Also ob-
serve the technical connection requirements of the electrical
utility companies.

stalling the ventilation system for the HW HP:
ATTENTION!
Work on the hot water heat pump is to be performed by qualified
personnel only! Observe accident prevention regulations!
