CLEANING
Ensure the unit is turned off and the plug is disconnected from the power
outlet before commencing any cleaning or maintenance.
Cleaning the unit’s surface:
Clean the surface with a damp cloth (add some mild detergent for stubborn
marks). Do not use corrosive detergent or solvents to clean; such as petrol/
turpentine etc. Do not wash the unit directly with water.
Cleaning the air filter:
Dirt and dust may accumulate in the filter during operation. Cleaning is
required to avoid any damage to the unit. This should be done at least once
a month.
• Use a soft cloth to clean away the dust/dirt. If you use water for
cleaning, please make sure the air filter is dry before reinstalling it.
• Do not use chemicals to clean the air filter.
IMPORTANT
The control panel and other parts must not come into contact with water or
any other liquids.
• Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste.
• Use separate collection facilities.
• Contact your local government for information regarding the collection
systems available.
