14. STANDBY Switch

The Standby switch is used in conjunction with the Power switch to warm up the amplifier before use and to
prolong the life of the output valves. When powering up the amplifier always engage the power switch first
and let the valves reach the correct operating temperature (approx. 2 min.) before you activate the Standby
switch.
In order to prolong valve life, the Standby switch should also be used to turn the amp ON and OFF during
breaks in a performance. Upon full power down, always disengage the Standby switch prior to the main
Power switch.

15. POWER Switch with INDICATOR

Press this button to start operation. The indicator lights up when the amp is powered on.

Please let the amplifier cool down and ensure it is switched off and unplugged from the mains electricity

supply whenever it is moved.

4.3 Rear panel TGA-50R

1. SPEAKER OUT 4/8/12 Ohm

Used to connect your external speakers. The Speaker Out-socket can be connected via balanced 1/4“ stereo
jack. When connecting external speakers please always make sure they match the impedance of the TGA-
50R.

Connection examples:

1 x 16 Ohm speaker = 16 Ohm Speaker Out
2 x 16 Ohm speaker = 8 Ohm Speaker Out
1 x 8 Ohm speaker = 8 Ohm Speaker Out
2 x 8 Ohm speaker = 4 Ohm Speaker Out
1 x 4 Ohm speaker = 4 Ohm Speaker Out

Never use the TGA-50R without a proper load attached!

2. DIRECT LINE OUT Socket

Line level, non-emulated output signal.

3. RECORDING LINE OUT Socket

Line level, balanced, output signal for connection into mixing desks. This output is independent from the
Volume controls and is frequency-corrected (Speaker Simulation).

4. POWER AMP IN/OUT Sockets

The TGA-50R features a serial path for external effects such as your DIMAVERY Wah-Wah-Pedal. Connect
the Effect Send socket to the output of your external effects device and the Effect Return socket to the input
of your effects device.

5. AC INPUT Socket and FUSEHOLDER

Used to plug in the power cord. Only replace the fuse when the device is disconnected from mains. Only use
fuses of the same rating and power.
