When adjusting the door(s), please proceed as follows:
Ø
On the left side of the appliance you will find a strip with an adjustable catch. Loosen the 2 bolts on the left of the
appliance by a few turns (see appendix 2, fig. 8).
!Caution
Do not fully remove these bolts!
Ø
Adjust the strip to achieve a proper door seal.
Ø
Re-tighten the 2 bolts.
Ø
Check that the door seal is now sealing properly, using the test with the sheet of paper described above.
Ø
Repeat the above-mentioned steps until the door seals properly, also in case of a possible second door.
9.6 Glass pane(s)
9.6.1 Assembly/disassembly of glass pane in door(s)
For removing and then re-assembling the glass pane you must observe the following instructions (see appendix 2,
fig. 7).
Disassembly of glass pane in door(s):
Ø
Open the door.
Ø
Lift out the door by sliding it upwards.
Ø
Place the door on a flat surface.
Ø
Unscrew the screws.
Ø
Remove the frame sections.
Ø
Lift the glass pane out. The pane seal is also taken out.
!Tip
Also check if the door seal must be replaced (see section 9.4.1).
Assembly of glass pane in door(s):
Ø
Assemble the glass pane with the new glass pane seal and place the door(s) back by performing the steps
described for disassembling the glass pane in reverse order.
!Caution
Use the supplied glass pane cleaner to remove fingerprints from the glass pane(s).
!Tip
Fold the glass pane seal over the top end of the glass.
9.7 Supplementary installation instructions per appliance
9.7.1 Odin Wall

9.7.1.1 Placing the appliance
This appliance must be suspended from a wall.
!CAUTION
The Odin Wall
EA
may only be mounted on a vertical wall made of robust, non combustible and heat-resistant
material.
!Caution
The flue exhaust (niche pipe or connection piece suitable for 150 mm SS pipe) in the ceiling should be 225 mm
from the centre to the wall. In all other cases, bends should be used.
When placing the fire, proceed as follows (see appendix 2, fig. 9 and 10). The recommended height between the
bottom of the appliance and the floor is 400 mm (see fig. 9B). The top of the wall bracket will then be suspended
at 875 mm (see fig. 9A):

Determine the position of the wall bracket and draw it on the wall (fig. 10-4). The recommended height is 875 mm
(fig. 9A), measured from the top of the wall bracket (= 400 mm from the bottom of the appliance to the floor,
fig. 9B).
Ø
Drill holes in the wall and fasten the wall bracket using the supplied key bushes (fig. 10-3) and bolts (fig. 10-2).
!Caution
Make sure everything is mounted level and that the wall bracket is centrally located under the flue exhaust in the
ceiling.
!Tip
Prior to placing the appliance, remove the door in order to avoid damage and make the installation easier.
Ø
Break out the cams at the back of the appliance.
Ø
Suspend the appliance from the wall bracket.
Ø
Adjust the appliance by means of the adjustment plates at the back of the appliance using an open-end wrench,
until the appliance is straight in relation to the wall (fig. 10-7).
Ø
Place the stove pipe (fig. 10-5/6) around the pre-mounted conical ring. If necessary, place the rosette.
