6. CONNECTING THE RECEIVER
6.3 Connecting with an HDMI cable
Plug the HDMI cable into the „HDMI“ HDMI socket on the receiver.
Connect the HDMI cable to the TV set.Read and follow the operating instructions for
the TV set.
If you want to connect a video recorder, plug a SCART cable into the „VCR“ SCART
socket on the receiver.
Connect the SCART cable to the video recorder. Read and follow the operating
instructions for the video recorder.
If you want to connect a stereo system, plug the Cinch (RCA) connector of the Cinch
cable into the „AUDIO R“ and „AUDIO L“ sockets on the receiver.
Note that the SCART cable and the HDMI cable do not come with the receiver. It is not
possible to operate the receiver concurrently over the SCART and HDMI connections.
A signal is supplied either at the SCART output or at the HDMI output.
A video recorder connected to the VCR SCART connection cannot be played over the
HDMI connection.
