Diskettes Keep the diskettes dry, out of extreme temperatures and direct
sunlight, and away from devices that contain magnets, such as
telephones or monitors.
Write-Protect
Switch
Positions You can write-protect a diskette to prevent accidental overwriting
or erasure of the data on that diskette. Before using a diskette,
check the position of the write-protect switch (

describes the two positions of the write-protect switch.
