IPv6 Interface

The address specified with this command replaces a link-local address
that was automatically generated for the interface.
u
You can configure multiple IPv6 global unicast addresses per interface,
but only one link-local address per interface.
u
If a duplicate address is detected, a warning message is sent to the
console.
E
XAMPLE
This example assigns a link-local address of FE80::269:3EF9:FE19:6779 to
VLAN 1. Note that the prefix FE80 is required for link-local addresses, and
the first 16-bit group in the host address is padded with a zero in the form
0269.

Console(config-if)#ipv6 address FE80::269:3EF9:FE19:6779 link-local
