1a. embedded (flush) Mounting:
Before starting the Mounting procedure, confirm that
the ceiling can hold the weight of the camera. A Safety
Wire (not included) is also required.
i. Cut a hole in the ceiling 170mm (6.7”) in diameter.
ii. Attach the Mounting Ring to the Ceiling:
• Use the provided “Installation Template -
Embedded Type” to drill the screw holes.
• Confirm that the ring is placed so that the ridge is
against the ceiling (and the indented screw holes
are facing opposite the mounting surface).
• Use the drywall plugs and screws, or machine
screws and bolts to install the ring to the ceiling.
iii. Attach the three (3) ‘L’ shaped hinges to the
Camera as shown in diagram 1Aiii.
