Question: My milk ‘froths’ in the S-baby bottle, why is this happening?
• This is quite all right; frothing does not affect the quality of your milk. It could be caused
by the valve in the bottom of the S-baby bottle. It has a small opening, which ensures
that air does not get into the milk. Should it affect the suction while you are expressing,
you might prefer to use the blue, closed valve
O
. Remember to reinsert the valve with
opening into the S-baby bottle before you start feeding, to prevent a vacuum being
created when you feed your baby.
