2.2.1

ActivGuard

The ActivGuard is the security nerve center for the terminal. It monitors all
sensor statuses and alarms in the terminal. The ActivGuard reports any incidents
to the remote security center or to the branch alarm panel.

2.2.2

ActivView Secondary Display with Touch Screen

An optional secondary display (see Figure 2-1) is located next to the encrypting
PIN pad in a landscape orientation. This display is available with a touch screen
that allows a consumer finger-signature. Using a stylus is not recommended.

2.2.3

Advanced Passbook Printer/Document Printer Slot

If the consumer uses a passbook, it must first be inserted into the advanced
passbook printer/document printer slot to complete the transaction.
