INSTRUCTIONS BOOKLET
TOASTERS
1-
Choose carefully the place where the set will work.
a)
The set should not be put in places near fuels or materials that can suffer deformation
by heat.
b) If this is not possible, one should coat the place with a good thermic insulating and
not combustible material. Choose a dry place.
b)
Whenever the toaster is working, the crumb tray should always be in its correct place.
This machine should not be used by people whose physical, sensory or mental capacities are
diminished (including children), or by people with little experience or know-how, except if
they can be assisted by another person responsible for their safety and vigilance and are able
to give them instructions pertaining to the use of the machine.
It is also convenient to supervise children so as to assure they maintain a safe distance from
the machine.
2-
Connect the set to the power supply of 230 V-50 Hz, making sure that the circuit is
compatible to the set power.
THE SET MUST ALWAYS BE CONNECTED TO A PLUG WITH AN APPROPRIATED
EARTH CONNECTION AND DO NOT USE T-TYPE ADAPTERS (EX: TRIPLE PLUG,
ETC.)
3-
To put it to work, please select the desired time by turning the timer and then turn the
switches of the required floors on (if the model has switches). Please bear in mind that there
are models in which the timer has a continuous position turning to the left.
4-
After having put the grids into the toaster, always take the handles off. If your toaster is
equipped with tweezers, use them only to put the bread in the toaster and never leave them
inside, as they can reach high temperatures.
5-
While the set is working, do not touch its metallic parts, as they are at very high
temperatures.
6-
CAUTION
BEFORE CLEANING THE SET, FIRST DISCONNECT IT FROM THE POWER
SUPPLY.
Use a wet cloth and never use jets of water. Do not plunge the set into water in order to
clean it.
7-
If water is spilled over the set by accident, it must be properly dried, so that it can be used
again.
8-
Wait until the set is completely cold to clean the tray, once it reaches high temperatures.
9-
If the feeding cable becomes damaged, it should be replaced by a special cable supplied
by the manufacturer or by an authorised agent. Use a cable of type H05RN-F 3x1 mm
2
for
single models, and of type H07RN-F 3x1,5 mm
