INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
If you are adding this component to an existing alarm system, you will need:
●
either the coding tool and template used to code the components of the alarm sys-
tem, in which case go directly to the paragraph “Coding the personalised radio
code” in these instructions,
●
or coding tool and template supplied in the accompanying accessory kit, in which
case carry out the following coding procedure:
use the chart you used to put the radio code on the base unit (see the system
installation guide),
Take the coding template, turn it over and you will see the numbers 1 to 10.
Hold the template and put the point of the coding tool into the first hole corres-
ponding to the figure with the first cross on the grid.
Twist the coding tool clockwise to pierce the template. Stop when the point of
the coding tool has completely penetrated to the other side. This means the hole
has been properly made.
Repeat the last two steps for each figure corresponding to a cross on the grid.
Now, you will have reproduced your code on the coding template.
Now go to the paragraph “Coding the personalised radio code”.

●
inside the house,

on a wall adjacent to or facing the window or on a ceiling not more than 4.5 m

●
in a room larger than 3 metres x 3 metres,
●
in a room with a number of windows to protect (the glass must measure at least

●
so that the zone protected does not overlap that protected by another audio sonic

■
Do not install the detector:

alarms,
●
in any noisy or echoing rooms, particularly if the detector is active when the room
is occupied (active when part set),
●
close to any sources of static (electric calculator, computers, etc.) or in direct sun-
light,
●
on the same wall as the windows it is protecting,
●
directly onto a metal surface.
