NEVER allow anybody to stand on, or
hinder the roll stop at the outboard
platform edge when the platform is set in
motion or is in motion.
Lift (= UP) and lower (= DOWN) in
accordance with the instructions in this
manual.
While lifting, the bridge plate will tilt down
automatically as the platform approaches
the vehicle floor. DO NOT stand on the
bridge plate before the platform has
come to a complete stop.
Press UP until the platform has come to
a complete stop. DO NOT disembark
before the bridge plate is level with the
vehicle floor and is solidly supported by it
from underneath.
Load and unload at the vehicle floor, help
wheelchair occupants embark and
disembark in accordance with the
instructions of section 7.4 from page 22
onwards.
Stowing the platform in travel position
Press UP to raise the platform to the
vehicle floor.
Stand on the ground at a safe distance
from the range of motion of the platform.
Press STOW to close the platform in its
travel position. Release the buttons when
you hear the platform turn in
overpressure.
Lifts with automatic platform locks (ref.
OWF014.1) do not require active
engagement of the platform locks. These
locks only engage in case of a slow
hydraulic pressure loss.
On lifts with a manual platform lock (ref.
